Anisa wields words and stories to bring conversations to life from hosting and moderating panels, to facilitating discussion through workshop settings to delivering keynotes based on her lived experiences and key insights from her work.

Her previous speaking engagements include Host and moderator for a Q&A with Gal Dem Founder and Editor-In-Chief of Wolverhampton Literature Festival 2020, Webinar host for Arts Council England on new Diversity and Inclusion Strategy 2020, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Dinner, and Mondelez Europe Away Day.

Anisa is also an experienced judge. Most recently, she was  on the panel for The Award for Civic Arts Organisations with Calouste Gulbenkian, The Purpose Awards with Campaign PR Weekly, and Third Sector.

Anisa works across private, charitable and cultural sectors to address the big five topics on the agenda for business for the next decade: diversity & inclusion, governance, leadership, culture and purpose.

Anisa consults with companies and leaders to unlock new thinking and drive deeper brand purpose to ultimately challenge and change what ‘business as usual’ means for organisations and for the people they serve.

Anisa holds space for ‘thinking aloud’ that helps unlock jammed areas with the people she works with. She’s interested in playful and productive conversations that help individuals feel heard and able to move forwards. An experienced coach and mentor, Anisa most recently coached 16 leaders on the National Culture Reset Programme. She has also worked with the British Council and the British Embassy in Russia to train female creative entrepreneurs across Russia. Anisa is currently training towards her ILM Level 5 Certificate in Effective Coaching and Mentoring. 

Anisa is available for 1-1 coaching sessions for you to have a space held where you can work through goals, challenges and opportunities in a warm and productive way. Anisa is a trained governance practitioner with both the Institute of Directors and The Governance Forum. She also studied a BSc in Business and Management at Aston Business School, and was awarded an honorary doctorate from Aston at the age of 26. She has developed from being ‘the young person on the board’ in her first position when she was only 17 to being invited to join several boards and advisory committees, from start ups to international sport events to nationally renowned institutions.

Anisa leads her own board at Beatfreeks as Exec Chair, is founding Chair of We Don’t Settle, and is currently a trustee of Clore Leadership. She is passionate about bringing her voice and experience to new challenges.
